Websites that just don't get it!

This is my list of sites I have blacklisted and the reason why.
IF YOU LOG ON TO ONE OF THESE SITES BE WARNED THEY MAKE NOISE AS SOON AS THE PAGE LOADS

I am weary of standing silently by as more and more websites discover great new tools and use them inappropriately.
They have forced me to create a "blacklist" of sites I cannot use.
Let me start with Auto-on sound that begins when a site loads, WHETHER I WANT IT TO OR NOT. Trust me - it is NOT. Not what I want. Not cool. NOT good business sense and I am going to name names.
How do you not get that website visitors are doing you a favor by logging on to your page? Why in the world would you YELL at them the second they get there? ? ESPECIALLY if you are a business oriented site! Whew! Let me take a deep breath.
Have you seen those cool little "movies" where a live talking person walks onto a web page and shares information? I like them. GREAT personal touch. But my internet surfing is MINE. I want, no, I demand, the right to choose when my computer makes noise and when it does not.
Same with those stellar flash movies with all the pizazz of the 4th of July. I like flash movie add ons - just let ME decide if and when they can make noise. And embedded youtube type videos are great - just let me start them when I am ready.
People log on to your page in the middle of the night when spouses and children sleep. People log on in their cubicle in a busy office where their cubicle partner is on the phone trying to close a big deal. What possible justification can you come up with for coming in and YELLING in a quiet zone? ARE YOU DAFT? I am going to start this list with the three sites that annoyed the hell out of me this week If your site makes this list and you correct the problem, let me know and I will remove you from the list.
